I went to the Guggenheim with the husband one cool autumn night not too long ago to see the "Picasso Black and White" exhibit.
The Guggenheim is my favorite museum in the city for its completely unique layout. Viewing an exhibit is always an adventure in space as well as art. The museums paths take you up around the perimeter of the building in an upward spiralling trek. This exhibit also took us forward in time as we ascended, spanning a period from 1904 to 1971. We ended the night in one of my favorite ways: with a burger and beer shared in a cozy pub, a train ride home spent reading side by side, and a mint sundae.
