My lovely sister was in town this month. While she was we took a trip to the New York Botanical Gardens in the Bronx to see “Manolo Valdés: Monumental Sculpture.” I'm so happy we did. The sculptures were beautiful, made ethereal by the wintry landscape of the park, the icy blue sky overhead and pale sunlight that accompanied us.
